It is time for you to get a new washer and dryer for your home. With so many options to choose from, how can you decide which ones to get? Let’s discuss some of the options and what they offer.

There are side-by-side units, stackable units, and then the washer dryer combo. The combo is one machine that washes and dries. This is the least efficient option and is usually only chosen when space is very limited, such as in smaller apartments. Side-by-side units are a great option if you would like to make a countertop on top for folding laundry or storing items. With side-by-side units, you can choose a front-loading washer or a top-loading washer. Front-loading washers have smaller load capacities but are more energy efficient.

Stackable units are a good option if your laundry space is limited horizontally. Since these are front loaders, they will have a smaller load capacity. But they are energy efficient. The installation is trickier for these units, so having a professional set them up will cost more. Also, you will be locked into getting the same brand of washer and dryer since these are manufactured to stack securely.
